Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually

This role focuses on building backend platform capabilities — request routing, traffic management, data fan-out, caching layers, asynchronous job execution, and durable event processing — that must handle very high traffic volumes with predictable latency and minimal operational toil.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 6 years of backend, platform, or software engineering experience
- Strong experience designing and building distributed systems and internal platforms
- Proficiency in Java, Go, Scala, Rust, or C
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Pulsar, NATS, or other event-driven technologies
- Strong knowledge of relational, NoSQL, and search databases
- Experience leading technical projects and collaborating across teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and mentoring skills
- Experience with Kubernetes and platform engineering
- Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of service mesh, workflow orchestration, or platform APIs
- Experience with API versioning and backward compatibility
- Technical blogging, conference speaking, or other community contributions
