Job Summary
We are hiring a **Mechanical Engineer** to support manufacturing operations, equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and capital projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical engineering support for manufacturing equipment and processes
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform root cause analysis
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on scrap, waste, downtime, and efficiency
- Manage/support capital projects including new machine installations and equipment upgrades
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules and coordinate vendors/contractors
- Support equipment installation, startup, testing, and validation
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, safety, quality, and productivity
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, maintenance, and operations teams
- Mechanical Engineering experience in a **manufacturing environment**
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting
- Experience with **continuous improvement and capital projects**
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work **onsite in Graniteville, SC**
