- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, computer science, systems engineering, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of professional experience, or 3 years with a related Master’s degree
- Experience managing, maintaining, or supporting GIS content in operational environments
- Experience with geospatial visualization applications or GIS technologies such as OpenStreetMap, QGIS, ArcGIS, OpenLayers, or Cesium
- Experience working with customers or users to fulfill data requests, resolve issues, or support geospatial workflows
- Experience collaborating across multiple teams and job functions while supporting both sustainment and enhancement priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
- Active Top Secret clearance required to start
- 3-5 years of experience with at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript, or Java
- Experience with Red Hat Linux, PostgreSQL, AWS, or Apache
- Experience working in AWS or other cloud environments
- Help desk or technical customer support experience
- Experience creating, packaging, validating, or delivering custom OSM datasets
- Experience supporting secure geospatial content across multiple customer environments
