Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Folder/Gluer Operator with a strong background in folding cartons within the food packaging industry. This role is critical to producing high-quality printed packaging while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, adjust, and troubleshoot Folder/Gluer equipment
- Run straight-line, auto-bottom, 4-corner, and 6-corner cartons
- Monitor production to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency
- Make adjustments, clear jams, and maintain consistent output
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Follow all safety, OHSE, and cleanliness standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of Folder/Gluer machine operation in the food packaging industry
- Hands-on experience with setup, troubleshooting, and machine adjustments
- Ability to run straight-line, auto-bottom, 4- and 6-corner cartons
- Basic math and computer skills
- Experience with Bobst Alpina, ExpertFold, or Domino machines
- Knowledge of Leary or Nordson glue systems
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30 lbs
- Comfortable with bending, reaching, and manual handling of materials
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed
