What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foodservice Sales Manager position at Bright Talent, Inc.?
Foodservice Sales Manager – Nashville, TN (Hybrid)
Who We Are We're growing more than fresh, sustainably grown lettuce — we're growing a movement. As the country's leading brand of packaged lettuce sustainably grown through controlled environment agriculture, we're redefining what fresh food looks like for consumers, retailers, and foodservice partners alike.
Our mission is simple: provide the freshest, best-tasting leafy greens while using fewer natural resources and creating a more sustainable future for farming.
With the opening of our newest greenhouse in Manchester, Tennessee this fall, we're entering an exciting new chapter of growth across the Southeast — and we're looking for a relationship-driven, entrepreneurial Foodservice Sales Manager to help expand our footprint across restaurants, fast casual, QSR, and foodservice distribution channels throughout the region.
Why This Opportunity Is Exceptional
This is not a maintenance-sales role. This is a growth role.
As newly added headcount driven by our Tennessee greenhouse expansion, you'll play a key role in scaling our foodservice presence throughout one of the fastest-growing markets in the country. You'll work directly with broadline distributors, restaurant groups, fast casual brands, and QSR operators — bringing premium, sustainably grown greens to more consumers across the Southeast.
This role is highly visible, highly collaborative, and highly relationship-oriented. One day you may be walking a greenhouse with customers, the next attending regional food shows, collaborating with marketing on new initiatives, or presenting growth plans to key accounts.
If you love building partnerships, opening doors, and representing a premium product with a compelling value proposition — this is your opportunity.
What You'll Do
🌱 Drive Foodservice Growth Across the Southeast
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand foodservice business throughout the Southeast
- Identify, prospect, and grow relationships within restaurants, fast casual, QSR, and distributor channels

🤝 Lead Customer Engagement & Relationship Development
- Conduct business reviews and presentations with key accounts to support annual growth objectives
- Bring customers into greenhouse operations for immersive brand and product experiences
- Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and independent foodservice shows
- Collaborate with foodservice marketing to develop customer-specific growth strategies
⚙️ Partner Cross-Functionally to Deliver Results
- Coordinate with production, operations, supply chain, and marketing to support forecasting and fulfillment
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities for the foodservice channel
- Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and profitability to drive continuous improvement
🌟 Be a Trusted Brand Ambassador
- Represent the brand with professionalism, energy, and authenticity
- Maintain strong customer communication to ensure exceptional service and partnership
- Support food safety, GMP, and HACCP standards while delivering premium product quality
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field — or equivalent experience
- 5 years of foodservice sales and distributor management experience
- Strong understanding of the Southeast foodservice landscape and customer network
- Experience with distributors, restaurant groups, fast casual, or QSR accounts strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to travel approximately 40% throughout the Southeast region
- Must reside in the Southeast near a major airport; Nashville area strongly preferred

- A mission-driven culture focused on sustainability and innovation
- Significant growth and national expansion underway
- A collaborative environment where your ideas matter
- Real career growth opportunities as the company scales
- The chance to represent a premium product customers genuinely love
- Competitive compensation and benefits
