About us
We are looking for a PRN PTA for Lawrence County, Ohio. We are a small company of approximately 17 employees. The entire team is great and everyone works together very well. Our company puts family first and is very flexible.
Duties
- Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of the physical therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Skills
- Physiology knowledge: Understanding of the human body's functions and how they relate to physical therapy treatments
- Anatomy knowledge: Familiarity with the structure and function of the human body, including muscles, bones, and joints
- Occupational health: Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices to assist in the rehabilitation of injured workers
- Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during treatment sessions
- Medical terminology: Understanding of medical terms and abbreviations commonly used in physical therapy documentation
