Job Overview:
The Center Director is responsible for center operational and administrative duties, as well as ensuring that building and/or classroom programing run according to company standards and expectations. The Center Director leads the teaching staff, provides support to families, drives enrollment growth, and maintains licensing standards. This leadership role is responsible for building positive relationships with teachers, families, state licensing authorities, and vendors that support the center.
Responsibilities:
- This role will provide support to all roles in the center, including teacher, cook, and/or van driver.
- Achieve operational goals and be an active player in growing new enrollment at the center.
- Coach, mentor, and train teachers within the classroom to ensure company, state licensing, and accreditation standards are lived and met.
- Be knowledgeable regarding and ensure center is operating in accordance with state rules and regulations.
- Be a company leader and promote a positive image of our company, mission, vision, and values to the community, teachers, and families.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
- Be responsible for creating and maintaining an educational, caring and safe environment for all children and parents.
Qualifications:
· At least two years of early childhood education experience required
· Must have BA in Early Childhood Education or minimally be a CPL level 3
· Previous management experience and at least 2 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
· Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
· CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
· A basic proficiency using tablet and computer
· The ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, to work indoors or outdoors, to crouch, to sit on the ground, and to actively engage with children in play
· Experience growing and running a licensed childcare facility
· Must have experience leading and developing a team
· Great communication skills
· NAEYC AND SUTQ knowledge preferred

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
