What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director position at Bright Start Academy-Clifton NJ?
Bright Start Academy is looking for a reliable, motivated and energetic Assistant Director who is passionate about early childhood education. The working schedule would be Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:45pm. We are a state licensed early childcare center that prides itself on our supportive, caring, and fun filled environment.
The Assistant Director responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
-Developing strong relationships with children and families that are attending our preschool.
-Working alongside the director and conducting tours for prospective families.
-Scheduling and interviewing teacher candidates and managing new hire paperwork and faculty training in compliance with state licensing regulations.
-Daily management of classroom ratios and covering the classroom staff if needed.
-Overseeing the daily operations of the school, including conducting staff meetings, and ensuring the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum in all the classrooms.
-Ensuring the health and safety standards of our preschool are in compliance with licensing regulations.
-Complying with state childcare licensing regulations.
-Must have 3 years' experience working as an Assistant Director in a preschool.
-Working schedule would be Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:45pm. A monthly salary of $3100.00.
