COMPENSATION

$17.00-$21.00/hr. Year-round / Part-time Position – Hourly wage based on experience and qualifications

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you enjoy working with children and have a passion for fitness, athletics, obstacle courses, or movement-based activities? Join Bright Stars Academy as a Ninja Warrior Instructor and help children develop strength, coordination, confidence, and problem-solving skills through our exciting Ninja Warrior program.

You'll guide students through structured classes featuring obstacle courses, agility drills, strength-building activities, and skill progressions in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. No prior Ninja Warrior coaching experience is required. We provide full training!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Lead age-appropriate Ninja Warrior classes based on Bright Stars' structured curriculum

• Teach obstacle course skills, strength exercises, agility drills, and movement progressions

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students through active supervision and proper coaching techniques

• Create a fun, energetic, and encouraging class environment that motivates children to challenge themselves and build confidence

• Set up, inspect, and break down obstacles and equipment safely and efficiently

• Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of individual students

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and parents

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training area

• Attend ongoing training and development sessions

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum:

• Must be at least 16 years of age (under 18 must obtain working papers)

• Available 2–3 days per week (3 to 5 hour shifts)

• Availability during our peak hours, including weekday afternoons/evenings and weekend mornings

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and actively participate in physical instruction

• Comfortable demonstrating basic athletic movements such as running, jumping, climbing, and balancing

• Willingness to complete CPR/AED certification and pass a background check

Preferred:

• Prior experience working with children in any setting

• Prior experience in Ninja Warrior, gymnastics, parkour, martial arts, athletics, fitness training, cheerleading, or related activities

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to motivate and engage children of varying ages and skill levels
