As a RN with Brightstar Care of Plano/North Dallas you will:
- Responsible for completing 15 visits per week
- Responsible for providing home health clinical services
- Responsible for quality; adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff.
- Perform care as defined by client's individual Plan of Care and within scope of state's nurse practice act
- Monitor patient's condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
- Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
- Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
- Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs
- Must be willing to do both visits and shifts as assigned
As a RN you will need:
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas
- 2- 5 years of infusion experience preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Reliable car and auto insurance
- Pass state and federal criminal record check(s)
- Current CPR/BLS
- Recent (within the last year) TB/Chest X-ray on record
- wound care experience
- Lab draw and PICC care experience
- Port experience is a plus
- Willing to see patients in all locations as assigned
