Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and service-driven Front Desk Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our diverse patient population.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about community health, enjoys helping others, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming, respectful experience for all individuals
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments (including emergencies and walk-ins)
- Assist patients with intake forms, consent documents, and insurance verification (Medicaid/Medicare/uninsured)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
- Support patients throughout their visit, ensuring clear communication and comfort
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) strongly preferred; additional languages are a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate care
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and electronic records
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Passion for serving diverse and underserved populations
