Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Tech to join our team at our newly developed, high-end apartment complex. The Maintenance Tech will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall appearance of the property, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, amenity spaces, and outdoor areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors, and dust and clean surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events and meetings held in common areas.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and tightening fixtures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the community manager.
• Assist residents with carrying items or moving furniture as needed.
• Monitor building security and report any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that the exterior of the building and grounds are well-maintained and free of debris.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and concerns.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the property manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a porter, janitorial, or maintenance role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic maintenance skills are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
