Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS)
STRTP – San Jacinto, CA
Full-Time | 10-hour shifts | Competitive Pay
About Us:
Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program serving female youth ages 6–17. We provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive care in a structured, supportive environment.
Position Summary:
The MHRS provides direct rehabilitative mental-health services to youth, including coping skills, social skills, emotional regulation, daily-living skills, and behavioral support. This role works closely with the therapist and program administrator and documents all services according to STRTP/Medi-Cal standards.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group rehab services
- Teach coping, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Support youth during crises using trauma-informed approaches
- Document services in compliance with Medi-Cal guidelines
- Participate in CFTs and treatment planning
- Support schoolwork, appointments, and daily routines
Qualifications (must meet ONE):
Bachelor’s in behavioral science 2 years experience, OR
- Master’s degree in Psych/SW/Counseling/MFT, OR
- Four years of mental-health service experience
Requirements:
- DOJ/FBI clearance
- CPR/First Aid (or within 30 days)
- Valid CA driver’s license
- STRTP training compliance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.83 - $28.69 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
