Position Summary:
Bright Path Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) team. This independent contractor role will provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and consultative support to teens engaged in both in-person and virtual IOP services. As Bright Path expands its IOP offerings, this position ensures consistent, high-quality psychiatric care and maintains a clear distinction between IOP and PHP medical services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a community-minded NP to provide trauma-informed, teen-centered psychiatric care within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. The role may expand to full-time as demand increases.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medication for adolescents enrolled in IOP
- Collaborate with therapists, program staff, and the full-time NP to ensure coordinated treatment
- Participate in clinical treatment team meetings and case consults
- Support both in-person and virtual IOP programming
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with clinical standards
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification preferred
- Experience working with adolescents in mental health or behavioral health settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working in a collaborative team environment
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment approaches
- Ability to manage care across in-person and virtual platforms

Compensation:
- Role Type: W-2
- Hourly Rate: $65 - $85/hour
