Position Summary
Bright Mind Integrated Psychiatry and Bright Sky Integrative Recovery are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative clinical team.
This combined position offers incredible variety across two complementary treatment settings. The anticipated schedule includes approximately one day per week with Bright Sky Integrative Recovery and 2 days per week with Bright Mind Integrated Psychiatry to start.
We are looking for a thoughtful, independent clinician who is interested in integrative psychiatry, addiction medicine, and innovative treatment approaches.
Bright Mind Integrated Psychiatry Responsibilities
Bright Mind is a well-established integrative psychiatry clinic offering individualized, holistic mental health treatment including TMS, Ketamine-assisted therapy (KAT), medication management, psychedelic integration, Spravato/Esketamine, nervous system programming, individual therapy, an array of nervous system programming in individual & group settings. Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits to monitor and support TMS treatment, Spravato treatment, KAT, and medication optimization
- Providing medication management - optimization, and clinically appropriate tapering
- Incorporating nervous-system regulation approaches and pharmacogenetic testing when clinically appropriate
- Coordinating care with therapists, medical providers, and other members of the treatment team
- Completing timely and accurate clinical documentation
Bright Sky Integrative Recovery Responsibilities
Bright Sky provides intensive outpatient treatment for clients with substance use and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. Our program combines the best of modern psychiatry, trauma-informed therapy, and somatic healing - it's innovative, relational, and grounded in what actually works. Your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric intake evaluations for new clients
- Reviewing psychiatric, medical, and substance-use histories
- Providing ongoing medication management for clients without an outside psychiatric provider
- Evaluating and supporting medication-assisted treatment when clinically indicated
- Managing an active caseload based on program census
- Participating in weekly multidisciplinary treatment-team meetings
- Coordinating care with therapists, case managers, medical directors, and outside providers
- Completing intake, progress, treatment-plan, and discharge documentation within required timeframes
- Participating in weekly clinical supervision with a medical director
Qualifications
- Current Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification
- Active or eligible Oregon licensure
- DEA registration and controlled-substance prescribing authority
- Ideally at least one year of psychiatric prescribing experience
- Experience with or strong interest in addiction medicine and co-occurring disorders
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
