Responsibilities
- Provide quality 1:1 instruction to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in communication, social, play, and adaptive skills under the direction of a BCBA.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collect and record objective data daily to reflect client progress toward goals.
- Collaborate and maintain effective communication with supervisors, team members, and families.
- Use positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive therapy environment.
Qualifications
- Current RBT certification
- Previous experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred, not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and compassion.
- Ability to follow BCBA guidance and work both independently and in a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes and schools.
Schedule & Setting
- Monday to Friday, flexible scheduling options.
- In-home, school, and community-based sessions.
- Part-time (10–25 hrs/week) or full-time (30–40 hrs/week).
