Early Childhood Education Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Development:
2. • Create lesson plans that promote learning and development in infants and toddlers
3. • Implement curriculum changes as needed to meet the evolving needs of the program

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 12 ECE units completed, including Child Development, Child Family Community, and two curriculum courses (one of which must be Infant/Toddler class)
• 12-18 months of professional experience teaching in child care or preschool settings
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required
