Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional growth for infants.
- Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and emotional well-being throughout the day.
- Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
- Incorporate early intervention techniques and special education strategies to support children with diverse needs.
- Engage in lesson planning that integrates Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences.
- Use behavior management skills to guide children’s social interactions and promote positive behavior.
- Collaborate with families through regular communication about each child's progress, milestones, and welfare.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and preschool experience.
- Proven experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development tailored for infants.
- Familiarity with early childhood education standards, standardized testing methods, and tutoring techniques suitable for young children.
- Ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with children who require special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in teaching physical education activities and fostering literacy education from an early age.
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, child welfare policies, and classroom experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred.
