Job Summary
Bright Hope Personal Care Home is a twelve bed facility located in Marrietta, GA. We offer flexible schedule options including both hourly and live-in caregiver opportunities. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional support to individuals in a personal care home settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of residents by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health conditions, and promoting a safe and nurturing environment. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with special needs such as dementia.

Duties

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in health status to appropriate personnel.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive social environment.
• Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times.
• Assist with patient observation to identify any changes in behavior or condition that may require attention.
• Help residents with mobility, including lifting and transferring as necessary, while ensuring their safety.
• Engage residents in social activities that promote mental stimulation and well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in assisted living, home community care, or similar settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment is essential.
• Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus.
• Strong understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to lift and assist residents as needed while maintaining their dignity and comfort.
• Certification in social work or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 60 per week

• caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
