What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Assistant position at Bright Futures Counseling?
Behavioral Assistants are part of the Child and Family Team providing behavioral interventions to youth under the supervision of a licensed clinician and working from a behavioral plan developed by that clinician. Individuals must have the minimum of a High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of experience in working in the field of behavioral/mental health. Individuals with a Bachelor's degree in a related field are preferred. Individuals who are hired as Behavioral Assistants must be able to become certified within 6 months of hire. The certification process requires attendance at seven free all day training sessions provided by the state, a minimum of one hour of clinical supervision per month, attainment of core competencies, and passing of a certification exam.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
