Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children aged 18 mos through 3 yrs. Duties
- Follow the Experience Learning Curriculum that is provided and maintain assessments.
- Create a safe and stimulating learning environment for children.
- Supervise daily activities, including playtime, meals, and nap times, ensuring that all children are cared for attentively.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, behavior, and attendance.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support children's individual needs.
Experience
- A background in Early Childhood Education is preferred, with experience in preschool or childcare settings.
- Familiarity with caregiving practices for toddlers is essential.
- Experience working with students of various ages and abilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs is beneficial.
- Previous experience in special education settings is a plus but not mandatory.
