About The Job

The Operations Manager owns the day-to-day execution of everything that keeps a location running: warehouse operations, delivery and pickup scheduling, field crew supervision, inventory and equipment readiness, and client satisfaction on the ground. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on solving problems in real time and building a team that delivers flawlessly, event after event.

What You’ll Do

Operations & Logistics

  • Own daily delivery and pickup schedules; optimize routes and dispatch crews for maximum efficiency
  • Ensure on-time setup and breakdown of rental equipment at every event
  • Manage the fleet, including maintenance schedules and compliance

Team Management

  • Lead and schedule warehouse, field, and delivery staff, flexing labor to match volume
  • Train the team on equipment handling, safety, and customer service standards
  • Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Inventory & Equipment

  • Manage inventory flow, including incoming/outgoing rental items, repairs, and loss prevention
  • Run regular audits to keep equipment accurate and event-ready
  • Partner with purchasing to maintain the right stock levels

Customer Service & Quality Control

  • Be the go-to for operational escalations and on-site event issues
  • Guarantee every rental item goes out clean, functional, and in excellent condition
  • Keep sales and client services in the loop with proactive communication

Administrative & Reporting

  • Track KPIs — delivery timeliness, equipmentloss/damage, labor efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policy
  • Report on operations regularly and flag opportunities to improve processes

What You Bring

  • Proven experience (3 years) in operations management, preferably in the event rental, logistics, or hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and logistics software is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL is a plus)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
