Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies.
- Deliver child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention techniques.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, motor, and social-emotional development.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships.
- Maintain accurate documentation of child progress, classroom activities, and adherence to mandated reporting laws for child welfare.
- Ensure safety by following health protocols such as first aid and CPR procedures while maintaining a clean and organized classroom setting.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs, including special education or early intervention programs.
- Knowledge of childhood development milestones.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching are highly desirable.
