What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler (2's) Teacher Assistant – Full Time position at Bright Beginnings Preschool?
Do you love the curiosity, big emotions, and joyful energy of toddlers?
At Bright Beginnings, we believe play is the heart of learning — and we're looking for a warm, dependable, patient, and playful Teacher Assistant to support our 2-year-old classroom full-time.
We've been investing in our outdoor playgrounds, expanding our play-based curriculum, and building classrooms where children and teachers feel supported. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a collaborative team and grow your career in early childhood education.
Why You'll Love Bright Beginnings:
- Play Comes First: Toddlers learn through hands-on exploration, movement, and connection.
- Outdoor-Focused: Daily outdoor play on natural playgrounds with oversized sand pits and space to explore.
- Supportive Culture: You're never alone — teachers work as a team and support one another.
- Growth-Oriented: Training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow within the program.
- Positive Environment: Kindness, communication, and teamwork guide everything we do.
What You'll Do:
- Support the Lead Teacher in a nurturing, engaging toddler (2's) classroom.
- Help children build independence, confidence, and social-emotional skills.
- Assist with daily routines such as meals, transitions, diapering, and rest time.
- Engage toddlers in playful activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Communicate warmly and professionally with families as part of the classroom team.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and joyful classroom environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young children (childcare, babysitting, or classroom experience preferred).
- A patient, caring, and positive attitude — toddlers have big feelings, and that's okay.
- Willingness to learn and grow in play-based and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to a full-time schedule.
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay Range: $15.00 – $18.00/hour, based on experience and education.
