Job Overview
Bright Beginnings is a small, but growing child care center located in Monroe, WI, just a few blocks from the square.
We are excited to grow our team of teachers!
Our current need is for a part-time, float teacher to come in at some of our busier times and lending a hand to our lead teachers. This would look like bus, lunch, and/or break times.
Potential shift: 10AM-2PM, 5 days/week
You will assist the lead teacher in tasks such as preparing snacks/lunch, laying down nap mats, doing activities with kids, changing diapers, and light cleaning duties.
This position is an excellent opportunity for college students or stay at home moms looking for flexible hours-bring your child to come & play while you get paid!
While our current need is part-time, there is potential to move to full-time as the need arises, if candidate is interested in more hours.
Bright Beginnings is open Monday through Friday 6:30AM-5:45PM with no nights or weekends and offers competitive wages, paid time off, and childcare discounts.

Duties
- Helps to ensure a safe and caring learning environment for children
- Contributes to lesson plans and assists in activities
- Works well with others and children through active listening and communication
- Create positive relationships with the children and parents
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting is preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
