Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational space where children can thrive. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring safety, and fostering positive behavior and growth.
Duties
- Supervise and care for children during scheduled hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote early childhood development, including play, learning exercises, and social interaction
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and personal hygiene routines for infants and toddlers
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and social skills
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and daily activities
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing appropriate care as needed
- Follow all licensing regulations and company policies related to childcare standards
Skills
- Experience with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- First aid certification and CPR training to ensure safety in emergency situations
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members
- Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques
- Classroom experience or daycare background is highly desirable
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Skills in caregiving, babysitting, nannying, or early childhood teaching are beneficial
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports learning through play and exploration
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
