What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher position at Bright Beginnings Learning Center LLC?
Bright Beginnings Learning Center is currently seeking a flexible, nurturing, and energetic Infant/_Toddler Assistant Teacher _to join our team for 30–40 hours per week, with potential for additional hours based on center needs.
Position Details:
- Hours: Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Location: Bright Beginnings Learning Center, Niles, Ohio
- Starting Pay: $11.50/hour, based on experience and education
Requirements:
- Must pass an FBI/BCI background check
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to follow ODJFS rules and Step Up to Quality guidelines
- Willing to complete required Step Up to Quality and health trainings
- Must be compassionate, upbeat, and dependable
- Must have complete availability during the center's open hours- 6:30 am to 6:00 pm!

Duties (including but not limited to):
- Providing classroom learning activities and opportunities in alignment with Creative Curriculum and the Ohio Learning Standards
- Assisting in the implementation of weekly lesson plans, observations, and assessments for students
- Building warm, supportive relationships with children and staff
- Maintain daily routines, transitions, and supervision
- Helping maintain cleanliness and organization of learning spaces
- Following all health, safety, and licensing protocols
- Being a positive and flexible team player who steps in wherever needed
