Experienced Toddler Teacher

Qualifications: Must love snuggles, coloring outside the lines, and dance parties....

Must pass background check, CPS check, drug test, and have high school diploma.

CDA or secondary education in early childhood preferred.

Our Lead and Assistant Teachers work together in:

• Educational programs/Curriculum — Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills; Lead Teachers work with the Preschool Manager to evaluate, develop, and implement new curriculum as needed.
• Classroom Management — Meeting the individual's needs of the children; maintaining appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom; interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning; and presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
• Serving our Families — Excellent parent communication; following all guidelines for respecting and serving the families entrusting their children's’ care to Bright Beginnings.
• Staff Development — Participating in staff and training meetings, building teamwork, and participating in assessments/evaluations for career advancement and growth; Committing to continuing education.
• Maintaining Professional Communication —Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.

Our teachers are responsible for ensuring compliance with Bright Beginning’s curriculum and standards. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning!

Job Type: Full and Part-time

Salary: $10.00 to $12.00 /hour
