Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers. This role requires a commitment to fostering childhood development through engaging activities and providing support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children in your care at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Offer toddler care by engaging in play and educational activities that support their growth.
- Assist children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and personal hygiene.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Implement behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions among children.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
Skills
- First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all children.
- Experience working with people with disabilities is highly valued.
- Strong background in toddler care, infant care, and overall childcare practices.
- Teaching skills that facilitate effective learning experiences for children.
- Proven experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones.
- Familiarity with classroom experience or daycare settings is beneficial.
