Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educators in fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves assisting with lesson planning, classroom management, and providing individualized support to students, including those with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
- Support students in literacy and math education, ensuring they understand key concepts.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Provide individualized attention to students, particularly those with disabilities or special needs, including autism.
- Engage in curriculum development alongside educators to enhance educational offerings.
- Foster positive relationships with students through effective communication and support.
- Participate in classroom management activities and assist with daily routines.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and execute engaging educational experiences.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and childhood development practices.
- Knowledge of special education strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom experience is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
