Bright Beginnings is looking for caring, energetic, and dependable teachers to join our team! If you enjoy working with children and want to make a difference in their day, this may be the perfect position for you.
This position is also a great summer opportunity for college students studying Education, Early Childhood Education, or related fields who want hands-on classroom experience.
Our teachers help create a positive, nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and grow through play and engaging activities.
What You'll Do
- Plan and lead fun learning activities and lesson plans
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Lead and facilitate groups of children during field trips and off-site activities
- Work as part of a team with other teachers and staff
- Assist with daily classroom routines and supervision
Bright Beginnings uses a center-based curriculum designed to support children's development while helping teachers build their teaching and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain – classes offered every 6 months)
- Shaken Baby Prevention Training (or willingness to obtain – on-site training available)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds may be required
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Two non-credit Early Childhood classes or equivalent (required)
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Must become a member of the Wisconsin Registry
