Job Summary
Bright Beginnings Child Care is seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

• Full time hours Monday thru Friday

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with preschool curriculum standards.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate classroom management techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
• Supervise children during playtime, ensuring safety and promoting social interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Negative TB Skin Test
• Child Abuse & Neglect Check and Background Check required.
• Experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing the development of preschool-aged children.
