Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Follow established classroom routines and behavior management strategies to create a structured and positive environment.
- Assist with meal times, diapering, nap schedules, and hygiene routines to ensure comfort and safety.
- Support classroom management by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the day.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive caregiving experience.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or behavioral challenges with appropriate first aid or de-escalation techniques as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively and foster positive interactions among children.
- Flexibility to work various shifts across weekdays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a caring attitude that promotes a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
- Must be 18 years of age and have a high-school diploma.
