Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavioral interventions. Your primary focus will be on supporting clients’ growth by applying evidence-based practices rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collect, record, and analyze data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, to foster independence
- Use behavioral therapy techniques to teach communication skills, social skills, and functional life skills
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of client records
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs
- Provide patient care in a compassionate manner that promotes safety, comfort, and trust during therapy sessions
Skills
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy strategies
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Excellent teaching abilities combined with patience and empathy for diverse learners
- Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology, health records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Ability to implement behavior management techniques effectively in various settings
- Skilled in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve client goals

Experience:
- Applied behavior analysis: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- RBT Certification (Preferred)
- 40 hours RBT coursework (Required)
