Duties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Assist with daily patient activities, including medication administration, and hygiene support.
- Document medical records accurately using MARS
- Support patients with mobility challenges and assist in activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, including medication administration, and patient progress.
- Conduct assessments of patient condition by documenting and observing symptoms related to dementia or acute illnesses.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed rigorously during all caregiving activities, including infection control and emergency response procedures.
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is preferred BUT WILL TRAIN IF NO EXPERIENCE .
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
- Proven ability to provide compassionate caregiving for seniors acute care settings.
- Experience working within HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
