This is a part-time, on-site role for a Behavior Technician - RBT In Home based in Long Branch, NJ. The Behavior Technician will implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Daily tasks include conducting behavioral interventions, collecting data for assessments, collaborating with the BCBA, and maintaining effective communication with families to ensure a cohesive approach to care. The role involves working directly with children to support their developmental goals.
- Proficiency in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis techniques
- Experience or knowledge in Behavioral Intervention and Psychology
- Strong Communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and families
- Ability to follow treatment plans and collect data accurately
- RBT certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Education) is a plus
- Reliability, patience, and a passion for working with children
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to client homes
