Career Service Manager, Entrepreneurship and Business Management
The BYU Marriott School of Business is seeking an experienced and relationship-focused professional to serve as the Entrepreneurship & Business Management Career Services Manager within the Business Career Center. This role mentors students in career development while building strong relationships with employers, alumni, faculty, and industry partners to create meaningful internship and employment opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring strong business experience, a passion for student development and success, and excellent coaching, mentoring, and relationship-building skills.

What You’ll Do In This Position
- Intimately understand the Vision, Mission and Values of the Marriott School of Business and endeavor to instill these in the development of students.
- Advise and mentor students in career exploration, internship preparation, job searching, networking, and professional development.
- Teach students best practices related to resumes, interviewing, offer evaluation, networking, and career management.
- Provide individualized career coaching and support to help students successfully navigate the recruiting process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, alumni, recruiters, and industry professionals to increase employment opportunities for students.
- Coordinate and support career fairs, employer events, workshops, and other career development activities.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen employer engagement and improve student career readiness.
- Represent the Business Career Center at recruiting events, conferences, and employer outreach activities.
- Collaborate with Business Career Center team members to create an ecosystem of development, support, and focus on improving for the benefit of students.
What qualifies you for this role:
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- 10 years of professional experience in industry or career services
- Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing people, programs, projects, or processes
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
- Master of Business Administration
- 20 years of experience working with a variety of organizations including large corporations, startups, or global businesses
