What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Tech/C-Arm Tech Per Diem to Part-time position at Brigham City Surgery Center?
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Radiologic Technologist / C-Arm Tech to join our new ambulatory surgery center in Brigham City, Utah on a per diem to part-time basis. This role will support a growing specialty practice focused on pain management, spine, podiatry, orthopedics, and total joints.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating a C-arm in a procedural or surgical setting, demonstrate strong patient care skills, and work effectively with physicians, nurses, and surgical staff in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment safely and efficiently during procedures
- Support physicians during pain, spine, podiatry, orthopedic, and total joint cases
- Prepare imaging equipment and procedure rooms before cases
- Position patients properly to obtain high-quality images while maintaining comfort and safety
- Follow radiation safety standards and ensure proper shielding and exposure practices
- Maintain accurate documentation related to imaging procedures
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any operational concerns
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, and clinical staff to ensure smooth case flow
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant procedural environment
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current Utah Radiologic Technologist license as required by state regulations
- Current BLS certification preferred or required
- Experience operating a C-arm in surgery, procedural, pain, spine, or orthopedic settings preferred
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ambulatory surgery center or operating room experience preferred
Schedule:
- Per diem to part-time
- Flexible schedule based on case volume and center needs
- Daytime hours primarily; schedule may vary
