Job Summary
Essential Functions:
- Design and deliver orientation, onboarding, and continuing education for clinical teams.
- Identify learning needs through skills assessments, performance data, audits, and staff feedback.
- Support staff in applying evidence-based practices, regulatory standards, and care management guidelines.
- Provide real-time coaching, mentoring, and clinical support to staff in complex patient care situations or transitional care planning.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to align education with organizational priorities, policies, and performance goals.
- Maintain and evaluate competency-based education modules and ensure training documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Monitor compliance with accreditation, licensure, and regulatory requirements in care delivery and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary committees related to patient outcomes and care transitions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in care coordination, case management, and patient advocacy practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
Massachusetts Registered Nurse License required
Experience in acute clinical practice 3-5 years required
Experience in staff education, clinical instruction, or preceptorship 2-3 years preferred
Experience in working in a healthcare setting with complex patient populations and interdisciplinary collaboration 2-3 years preferred
Strong presentation, facilitation, and instructional design skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across multiple disciplines.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), learning management systems (LMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
