The position:
Committed Physical Therapist Assistant to become a member of our Brig PT team. Working in an outpatient orthopedic setting you will treat a variety of orthopedic conditions within a varying patient population.
Responsibilities
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
- Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Consult and practice with other health professionals
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
- Document patient care services
Skills
- Work experience as a physical therapist assistant
- Appropriate education and clinical expertise
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow
- Ability to form relationships with patients to motivate them in their therapy
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid PTA license
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
