Immigration Attorney – Family-Based Immigration & Humanitarian Visas

Brigante Law Group is a fast-growing, mission-driven immigration law firm representing clients nationwide in complex family-based immigration matters and humanitarian. We are seeking a highly skilled, bilingual Immigration Attorney with strong experience in family-based immigration matters & humanitarian visas relief who can confidently guide clients through some of the most important legal moments of their lives.
We are looking for an attorney who combines strong legal strategy with exceptional client communication skills, someone who can build trust quickly, explain complex immigration options clearly, and confidently lead clients through their legal roadmap from the very beginning of representation.
The ideal candidate is highly experienced with family-based immigration strategy & T Visas, U Visas, VAWA, and is comfortable advising both prospective and existing clients in a client-facing environment.
What You’ll Do
• Must be highly organized, self-starter capable of achieving consistent demonstrable results without having or needing direct oversight. Must have excellent skills at managing legal portfolio of files and delegating clear, concise tasks to paralegals and other legal team members
• Must work extremely well in a team dynamic under pressure and do so with a high level of EQ (emotional quotient)
• Conduct consultations with prospective and existing clients
• Review case notes, contracts, and intake information to develop strategic immigration roadmaps
• Identify and evaluate all potential forms of immigration relief available to the client
• Advise clients on humanitarian and family-based immigration options, including complex strategic decisions
• Clearly explain legal pathways, timelines, risks, and expectations in both English and Spanish
• Collaborate with intake teams, senior representatives, and legal staff to ensure strategic alignment
• Assist with active case strategy and legal oversight where needed
• Review and analyze humanitarian filings and supporting evidence
• Provide high-level legal guidance with empathy, confidence, and professionalism
• Stay current on changes in immigration law, policy, and humanitarian relief trends

• Comfortably working remotely in a fast-paced, collaborative law firm
Required Qualifications
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Bar license in any U.S. state
• Minimum 3 years of immigration attorney experience
Strong experience handling:
Family-based immigration matters
Humanitarian-based immigration matters
o U Visas
o T Visas
o VAWA
• Fluent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish (required)
• Strong legal analysis, issue spotting, and case strategy skills
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities
• Ability to independently assess complex humanitarian immigration cases
• Organized, proactive, and capable of making independent legal assessments

This is not an entry-level immigration attorney position.
Only apply if you have independently handled humanitarian immigration strategy involving T Visas, U Visas, VAWA, and related forms of relief.
We are seeking attorneys who are comfortable taking ownership of client strategy, advising clients directly, and operating with a high level of professionalism and accountability.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $80,000 – $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience
