Job Summary:Performs various assignments relating to inventory control that support the company’s production and sales departments. Typical Job Duties:Verify inventory by cycle counting at all locations. Reconcile, resolve issues, and enter properly into MS Business Central.Perform month-end inventory reconciliations.Research and resolve questions/issues with inventory items.Assist with annual inventory/financial audit as needed.Assist any cross-functional department with needed information or questions regarding data related to inventory or master data.Serve as back-up when other inventory personnel are out of the office. Assist plants in performing traceability exercises and assist with providing documentation for traces or recalls.Actively manage Master Data set ups, updates, etc, related to all item set-ups and inventory. Receive inventory into MSBC from purchased grain. Assist plant personnel at all locations with production related data entry issues that affect inventory accuracy & respond to ERP Help tickets submitted by plant personnel. Assist with coordination of daily transfers between plants and warehouses. Enter transfers for designated sites into MSBC.Track in-transit transload inventory and record properly into MSBC any needed transactions.Update various excel spreadsheets or MS Power BI (MSPBI) reports as they relate to inventory reporting (production, usage, inventory levels, etc.)Adhere to all government and company safety, sanitation and GMP policies and regulations.Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.Background and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required. Related inventory experience and/or training a plus. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central helpful. Requires initiative, self-motivation, problem solving, data entry accuracy, strong math skills and an eye for detail. Good organizational skills along with strong communication skills. Must have the ability to work as a team player with a positive attitude.
