Duties
- Prepare and set up forms, frameworks, and molds for concrete pouring using blueprint schematics and technical drawings.
- Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment to mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces.
- Install rebar reinforcement and metal stud framing to ensure structural integrity of concrete elements.
- Perform concrete finishing techniques including smoothing, troweling, and sealing to achieve desired surface quality.
- Execute masonry work such as stucco, plastering, tile laying, and flooring installation to complement concrete structures.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction activities on-site.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor safely during renovation, restoration, or new construction projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong focus on concrete-related tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in concrete work and general construction.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery for construction purposes.
- Knowledge of rebar installation, form building, concrete finishing techniques, and masonry work.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and safety protocols on-site.
