What are the responsibilities and job description for the Peer Recovery Specialist position at Bridging the Gaps, Inc.?
About Us
Bridging the Gaps (BTG) is a small residential, holistic, and integrative facility for drug and alcohol abuse treatment. We are actively seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist who wants to make a real difference by supporting adults in early substance abuse treatment. Our Peer Recovery Specialists are integral members of the BTG interdisciplinary team, working collaboratively to implement and monitor treatment for clients across our residential and independent living continuum.
Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and highly flexible Peer Recovery Specialist for a unique, hybrid role that spans both our clinical and residential environments.
In this position, your day will bridge the gap between structured clinical support and real-world independent living. You will spend your afternoons in the clinical building providing essential group therapy services, and your evenings supervising and supporting clients in our residential house. Note on Flexibility: This position requires a high degree of scheduling agility. While the ideal hours are Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, you must be very flexible with your work hours to ensure our residential house is always safely supported.
