Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residents' rooms, hallways, and common areas in accordance with established standards.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensure all bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain organization in storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred; experience in long term care is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and moving furniture as needed.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is advantageous.
