We are currently seeking a professional that possesses strong leadership and interpersonal skills to join our exceptional and welcoming Dietary team. The Registered Dietician is responsible for using clinical knowledge and to assess patients for admission to post-acute and long-term care, and providing expert advice and safely meeting our resident’s needs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and make recommendations to implement dietary and food service policies and procedures to meet residents’ needs and in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
- Develop a monitoring system for the dietary and food service department and make all recommendations for implementation to assure compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
- Develop menus to meet residents’ dietary needs.
- Assist the food service supervisor to assess residents’ dietary needs and develop appropriate dietary plans in compliance with physician’s orders.
Strongly Recommended Skills & Certifications:
- Current NJ Registered Dietitian license
- 2-5 years experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Experience with Point Click Care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be hands on, independent and motivated!
