Role Description The Machine Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing machinery and mechanical systems to meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating detailed CAD models and drawings, selecting components, and performing engineering calculations to validate designs. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as manufacturing, automation, and maintenance, to ensure designs are feasible for production and aligned with project specifications. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues, supporting equipment installation and commissioning, and project management.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wooster, OH.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; other engineering disciplines with applicable work experience many be considered
- Min 3 years experience designing machinery and equipment, preferably for high speed manufacturing processes
- Project management experience
