Area Sales Manager – Medical Device
Location: Denver, Colorado

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, driven Area Sales Manager to manage and grow an established medical device territory across 5 states.
This is a field-based sales role focused on selling medical devices into hospitals and acute-care environments. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating complex hospital sales processes, developing relationships with clinical and economic stakeholders, and building a territory through both new account development and expansion of existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the territory.
- Expand business within existing hospital and healthcare accounts.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, product evaluations, negotiations, and closing.
- Sell medical devices and capital equipment within hospital and acute-care environments.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, nurses, clinical leaders, administrators, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and clinical in-services.
- Develop relationships with key clinical advocates and industry influencers.
- Partner with clinical and sales leadership to support customer needs and territory growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of successful medical device or healthcare sales experience preferred.
- Experience selling into hospitals, operating rooms, acute care, or similar clinical environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and grow existing business.
- Comfortable managing longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Self-directed and capable of managing a large geographic territory.
- Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements and travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
