PART TIME EXPERIENCED Dental Assistant

Job Overview

Bridgeway Dental is seeking a cheerful, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Pior Dental experience is required — we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic. If you’re reliable, enjoy helping others, and thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment, we’ll train you to become an outstanding dental assistant.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into the dental field with full on-the-job training.

Intended hours are from Monday AND Friday (7:45AM - 5PM). Looking for PART TIME to start then transition to FULL TIME if schedule allows.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients with warmth and professionalism
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Assist the doctor and hygienists chairside during procedures
• Take digital x-rays (after certification)
• Document patient care and treatment details accurately
• Manage room turnover efficiently between patients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical spaces
• Learn dental terminology, materials, and workflows
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols
• Provide general support to clinical and front office teams as needed

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, eager to learn, and receptive to feedback
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Able to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• Cheerful, team-oriented mindset
• Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be eligible to obtain NYS dental radiology certification (training provided if needed)
