Bridgewater: A Legacy Retirement Community is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure our community remains a beautiful, safe, and comfortable place for residents, guests, and staff.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with housekeeping and supervisory experience who enjoys coaching a team and upholding high standards of cleanliness and service.
Position Details
- Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Status: Full-Time
- Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure high cleanliness standards throughout the community
- Assign daily tasks and schedules to housekeeping staff
- Inspect resident apartments and common areas for quality and safety
- Train, coach, and mentor team members on cleaning procedures and best practices
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other department leaders to support overall community operations
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare environments is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead by example and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed throughout the workday
